Hello everyone,
this is my first shared report and I hope it can be useful to some of you.
I'm also from Italy (nobody's perfect), so please forgive my English.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
I've got a few customers who would like to know the name of the companies which visited their websites.
They would also like to know how these companies got there and the pages they visited.
We all know we can get to the name of the company using the HOSTS report - if the company goes around the web showing its own resolved IP address (sorry: I'm not being much technical here...).
HOSTS reports, though, don't give us much more info than the name of the company and little more.
I got this report ready for my customers and I'd like to share it with you:

WHAT'S IN THE REPORT
You'll find 5 tabs:
Host > Pages
Host > Source/Medium
Host > City
Host > Keyword
Host > Keyword > Pages
It's more useful if applied to a short period (from a single day to a week, depending on the number of daily visits you get).
I suggest you should start from Host > Pages and order the report by Pages/Visits, descending order.
This way you'll have on top the Hosts that visite most pages of your site, meaning they were interested in what you wrote.
Clicking on the Host name, you'll get the single pages they visited (clicking again you'll get the URL).
From your first click on the Host Name, all the data shown in the report will apply to that Host.
You'll be able to see what city the company is from and what keyword they used to get to your site.
To go back to your full Host list, click on "ALL" in the breadcrumbs on top of your GA report page.
---
That's about it. My customers use this report to call back companies who have shown interest for a particular product or service. You can just play with it or trash it.
Please feel free to comment, evaluate and criticize it.
Thank you for this site, Jill!!!!
:-)

Haha, yeah keep refining it and maybe it will be worth selling it! Just so you know LF charges about 200 pounds a month for the entry level service with 750 a month being average.
All they've got is a streamlined process that's tied up to LinkedIn, but the data is pretty much the same as yours.

Hi again Marco. I think there is one dimension that would really make this pop:
ga:date
and also ga:hour could be nice..
This adds a YYYYMMDD dimension to a report so you can see what date the search query happened. Any idea how to pop that in / if this is possible?

Hi Filip,
you asked, and here it is
:
https://www.google.c...lT2aAK6WFRE49oQ
Since there's only room for five different tabs, I had to cancel out the Host > Keyword tab and replace it with Host > Time of the day.
You can still find Host > Keyword > Pages, though.
The time of the day is shown as a unique string of figures: 2012081408.
It should be easy to read it out: year(2012)/month(08)/day(14)/timeoftheday(08)
Now you can also follow the path:
Host > Keyword > Time of the day > Destination Page > Pages
It can be useful, but it's an extra click which some might not appreciate.
Anyway, that's about as far as I can get.
Anyone else here with tips and comments?
